Trace and cut out the pattern's shape. Repeat so that you have two torsos. With patterns for legs and arms, trace and cut out four of each from the same fabric. doll

There's a few things you need to get started with this tutorial.   First, it's helpful if you have some basic experience with making dolls. You'll find following this tutorial easier if you've accomplished some sewing already. Next, you need a good sewing machine. There's nothing more frustrating than a sewing machine that won't perform well. Before i changed to a new machine i constantly annoyed by my old machine's thread tension. I couldn't get a smooth, even stitch. It made doll making next to impossible. Since getting my brother® sewing machine , i can sew without worrying about lousy looking stitches. It's very easy to thread. I like how the bobbin lid is clear allowing me to spot when it's low on thread. Plus, is has several pretty top stitches on clothing and other sewing projects.

Now i have to pause and say i am always willing to sew from scratch but what i rather do is repurpose sewing. Maybe it’s just a phase i’m in, but i just love it! yes, i enjoy the challenge. Yes, i enjoy all the details in the end product!  so, when i spied this little baby shirt i knew it was a perfect match for a summery doll sundress. Basic Knit Doll in 6 Sizes

These designs were created with beginner knitters in mind. They are knitted flat and are sewn together. For a more experienced knitter, i have created directions for knitting the dolls in the round, using double pointed needles, thus eliminating the seams. Also, directions are giving for adding a face and hair. Those expanded directions for a basic knit in the round doll can be found here.

Use flesh-colored knits for the head and hands. Use a brown or black knit for the feet. Make the hands and feet about 3 1/2 inches long and about 2 to 2 1/2 inches at the widest points. Stuff the head with fiberfill until the desired head size is achieved. The same goes for the head and feet. Embellish the head with embroidery for the eyes, nose, cheeks and lips. You can also use buttons to simulate these features. Stitch yarn onto the doll head for hair or apply purchased doll hair to the top of your doll's head. See "do basic hand-stitching and knotting," under related ehows, for information on hand stitching.

Making a Doll Nose

Synthepon; beads for the eyes. The most remarkable detail of the doll will be herface, therefore it is necessary to start making it from him, and to make the most expressive. Cut off the bottom of the tights and fill it with sintepon. This will be the head of the future doll. In order to form a nose, you can report the ball from the sintepon in the right place, or then sew a capron-covered nose on top. And we start with the help of needles and threads to form facial features.

We proudly offer free approvals in the different stages during the creation of your bobbleheads doll. Changes can be made like making the nose wider or lips thinner - this means a great deal when sculpting your doll to ensure satisfaction. During the process, we send head proofs, body proofs ( head-to-toe custom order)and final proofs to your email. Each step can be approved or modified, if a change is requested, we will amend the doll and provide a new proof - if it is approved we will move towards another proof. As approvals are received, we turn it into a poly resin head, we can not move backwards.

Make sure the wig cap actually fits your doll with a little bit of allowance for the hair. Go for a matching color to your yarn if you want to hide the cap better. For the sake of this tutorial, i went with a contrasting color just to show you which part of the wig cap will be visible once the wig is done.
